Eleanor is an inspiring, well researched, thoughtful and engaging speaker. She blends hope and humour while outlining doable solutions we can use as we face down a food crisis brought about by climate change. Drawing on the backdrop of a revolutionary food system change created in the UK during WW2, she takes her listeners through the steps necessary to create a sustainable and just response including answers to food access, production, and conservation. The Vancouver Food Policy Council was thrilled to be able to engage Eleanor in our Community Talks Series.
Eleanor presented her insights into the benefits of a plant-rich diet as a solution to climate change at one of our Drawdown BC sessions.
